Primary Health Care and Services
Brief description
Following the efforts of Paul Lamarche for cooperative action on the front line, the goal of the PHCS Axis is now focusing on developing research capacity in primary care. This strategic priority is supported by Pierre Tousignant and aims to foster partnerships between clinical settings interested in research and researchers, both for planning and carrying out research projects in clinical settings as in the transfer and appropriation of knowledge ( Frontline Clinical Research Network (RRMCPL)).(guidance document in french)
Objectives of the Axis
- Encourage the development of multicentre collaborative research on the organization and the effects of PHCS.
- To contribute to the development of a culture of scientific research at the frontline of clinical care.
- To promote the development of environments favorable to clinical research focusing on the organizational and evaluative aspects of PHCS.
- To promote the development of researchers sensitive to the realities and needs the first line of clinical settings.
- To inform policy makers interested in PHCS.
Are you interested in primary care research? Whether you're a health care professional working in clinical care or a researcher of the PHCS Axes, the RRMCPL Network can help you complete projects that are dear to your heart (contact Pierre Tousignant).
