The CAPE 2016 Symposium will kick off with a keynote presentation by Dr. Murray Stein, Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry and Family Medicine and Public Health, University of California, San Diego.
Researchers and students are invited to submit oral and poster presentation proposals. Two awards of $200 will be given to the students who make the best oral and poster presentations.
The deadline for submitting a presentation proposal
May 30th, 2016
The CAPE 2016 Scientific Committee with CAPE President Dr. Elliot Goldner and other CAPE executive members will review the submissions received before the deadline. A program for the Symposium will be circulated later.

Registration
We need to know in advance how many people will attend the Symposium so that we can order enough food and beverages for everyone.
Registration fees for the Symposium
- $50 for students and
- $100 for others.
These registration fees cover a light breakfast, coffee/tea breaks, buffet lunch, CAPE membership for 1 year, and documents for the Symposium.

Receipts for payment will be available during registration at the symposium.
Accommodation
There are a number of low cost hotels in the downtown Toronto area such as:
- Holiday Inn, Toronto Bloor Yorkville or ;
- Super 8 Downtown Toronto.
For those seeking a mid-price hotel another option is:
- Intercontinental Toronto Yorkville.
Please note these are just suggestions and symposium attendees are encouraged to find accommodation that best suits their needs.
Dinner on September 21st
CAPE tradition calls for an informal dinner to be held on the evening of the Symposium.
Cost for the dinner
Roughly $50 before taxes and tip
- Please indicate on the Registration Form whether you will be attending this dinner.
- The name and location of the restaurant will be announced at the beginning of the Symposium.
Simultaneous translation
Unfortunately, simultaneous translation (French/English) will not be available during the Symposium.
You may present in either French or English.
