Possibilité de financement pour la recherche en santé mondiale:  Subvention de démarrage pour le soutien de nouveaux partenariats de recherche

Le Regroupement stratégique en santé mondiale du RRPSQ est fier d’annoncer son concours visant à soutenir les chercheurs en encourageant de nouveaux partenariats entre des chercheurs de différents domaines connexes à la santé mondiale. L’objectif de ce concours est de catalyser des nouvelles avenues de recherche interdisciplinaires en santé mondiale. 

Critères d’admissibilité

  • Les candidats doivent être membres actuels à titre de Chercheurs réguliers au sein du RRSPQ;
  • Les candidats doivent être membres du corps professoral d’une université ou membres d’une équipe ou d’un centre hospitalier affilié;
  • La recherche proposée doit être pertinente à la santé mondiale (Ex: enjeux de santé pertinents à un pays à revenu faible ou moyen ou un milieu doté de ressources limitées au Canada);
  • Les propositions doivent comprendre un nouveau partenariat de recherche entre au moins deux membres actuels du RRSPQ (idéalement affiliés à deux ou plusieurs regroupements stratégiques du RRSPQ – voir https://www.santepop.qc.ca/fr/qui-sommes-nous);
  • La recherche proposée doit être complétée avant le 31 décembre 2018; un rapport des activités de recherche devra être soumis avant cette date;
  • Le même projet ne peut pas être financé plus d’une fois par le RRSPQ et/ou l’un de ses regroupements;
  • Les projets de recherche bénéficiant du soutien d’autres sources ne sont pas admissibles à l’attribution de fonds.

Critères de sélection:

  • Pertinence potentielle de la recherche proposée à la santé mondiale;
  • Interdisciplinarité du partenariat proposé;  
  • Qualité scientifique de la recherche proposée;
  • Capacité potentielle de la recherche à attirer du soutien extérieur.

Contenu d’une demande complète:

  • Formulaire de demande (peut çetre téléchargé à gauche de votre écran)
  • Proposition complète:
    - Pertinence de la recherche proposée en ce qui a trait à l’avancement de la santé mondiale et détails de la recherche qui sera effectuée (ex: justification, question de recherche, méthodes, résultats anticipés, etc – maximum 3 pages) 
    - Budget avec justifications brèves (maximum ½ page)
    - Échéancier du projet (maximum ½ page)
    - Plan pour le développement de la recherche proposée afin de mobiliser des fonds de l’extérieur (maximum ½ page)
    - Références principales (maximum ½ page)
    - CV commun canadien de tout Chercheur/Chercheuse principal(e)

Global Health Research Funding Opportunity: Seed Grant Support for New Research Collaborations

 

The Global Health Strategic Group of the Québec Population Health Research Network (QPHRN) is pleased to announce a competition to support researchers in encouraging new collaborations among researchers from different domains interfacing with global health. The goal of this competition is to catalyze new avenues of interdisciplinary research in global health.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidates must currently hold the status of Regular Researchers within the QPHRN membership;
  • The candidates must be Faculty members at a university or affiliated hospital teams or centers;
  • The proposed research must be of global health relevance (i.e. addressing a relevant health issue in a low- or middle-income country or a resource-poor setting within Canada);
  • Proposals must include a new research collaboration between at least two current QPHRN members (ideally affiliated with two or more strategic groups of the QPHRN – see https://www.santepop.qc.ca/en/background);
  • The proposed research should be completed by December 31, 2018; a report on research activities should be submitted before this date;
  • The same research project cannot be funded more than once by the RRSPQ and/or any of its strategic groups.
  • Research that is already supported by other sources is ineligible for application.

Selection Criteria:

  • Potential relevance of the proposed research to global health;
  • Interdisciplinarity of the proposed collaboration;
  • Scientific quality of the proposed research;
  • Potential of the research in leveraging extramural support.

  • Completed proposal:
    - Relevance of your proposed research for advancing global health and details of the research to be conducted (e.g. rationale, research question, methods, expected results, etc. - max 3 pages)
    - Budget with brief justification (max ½ page)
    - Project timeline (max ½ page)
    - Plan for development of the research proposal for extramural funding (max ½ page)
    - Key references (max ½ page)
    - Canadian Common CV for all Principal Investigators

APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED AS ONE PDF FILE CONTAINING THE DOCUMENTS IN THE ORDER SPECIFIED.
