The SG Equity and Social Health Inequities mission is to foster a research network complementary to the existing Montréal network, while focusing on social health inequities existing in rural areas within groups of Aboriginal people in small and medium cities.
The mission of the group aims to:
- Promote and support research teams
- Help structure the research on social health inequities in the province of Québec
- Ease the funding process
- Support knowledge sharing regarding social health inequities between different regions and research groups in the province of Quebec
