Soutien à la recherche et concours FR/EN - Appel de propositions d’initiative structurante - L'avenir de la santé publique / The Future of Public Health

This call is addressed to regular researchers, inviting them to consider the challenges and opportunities facing the future of public health. It seeks to encourage research projects focusing on the social inequalities in health amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic, the ethical dilemmas arising from the increased use of new technologies, and issues of equity of access to healthcare. It encourages in-depth reflection on the repositioning of public health, notably through analysis of current political measures and bodies, in a context of an aging population, increasingly complex health needs, and the digital shift in health. The proposals should contribute to understanding these contemporary issues and to thinking about the reconfiguration of the public health sector in Quebec.
